Suggest Treatment For Thin Oily Hair

My hair just recently started to break off, very oily, thinning. I had very thick healthy hair. I am peak into menopause and I am so frustrated. what shampoo can I use? I need to color my roots because the gray is coming in. I am afraid that if I color my hair the rest of my hair will fall out. Please help me!!!
