Suggest Treatment For Throat Infection

I am a 25 yr old female. I had a bacterial throat infection about a month ago. Despite being treated and feeling better my throat started to become pale and now slightly yellow in tint and my tonsils have developed these dark redish purplish veins that are now spreading down my throat. I thought it would eventually go away but I had a toothache yesterday so I went 2 the dentist and now my wisdom tooth is infected. I was prescribed antibiotics and havent even been on them for 24 hrs but now my tonsils are starting to hurt and im starting familar symptoms to tonsilitis but without the swelling or redness. I dont know if I should go to the doctor for more or different type of antibiotics or I should just take what has already been prescibed and wait to see if it gets better or worse. What should I do? I unfortunately and a sigle mother with limited means so I dont want to go 2 the dr unless its necessary
