Suggest Treatment For Throat Pain Causing Difficulty To Swallow

I swallowed a big piece of sandwhich without thoroughly chewing it two days ago. I now feel a pain after swallowing. It s not while swallowing (I m swallowing just fine) but after food is going down my throat, I do feel food and drink go down my esophagus over the left side of my chest (a little bit above my left breast pec) and it hurts. And I wonder is that just trauma in which I caused by swallowing that will eventually subside in a few days or a larger issue. Again I m swallowing fine it just hurts going over that part.
