Suggest Treatment For Throbbing Headache

Hi - my 13 year old son has been having a high fever since yesterday. This morning I took his temperature and it was at 102.9. - I've been giving him Ibuprofen and Extra Strength - his fever goes down to about 99 degrees - but he said the medicine made he's headache worse and is throbbing so hard he can't sleep. How can we get rid of his headache?
