Suggest Treatment For Throbbing Pain From Head Injury

Hi, I hit my top of my head two days ago from the trunk of my car. It is still throbbing all over. I went to the doctor today. He only gave me tramadol 30mg IM and told me to take some Tylenol with Excedrin. I did that and I have no changes. I don't have any visual problems or issues with my balance.
