Suggest Treatment For Tibial Plateau Contusion

Hi. My daughter injured her knee playing softball, and upon exam the doctor thought it was a torn acl. MRI showed tibial plateau contusion. Should she still feel really wobbly even if all she did is bruise her tibia or could doctor have missed something?
