Suggest Treatment For Tonsillitis And Running Nose

hi my son has tonsilitis he has had it since thursday last week. he has antibiotics but hes not really picking up. he has a stuffy nose but its constantly running, hes constantly tired and has no energy and complains of being cold with a sore head? is this normal as he is only 4 years old?
