Suggest Treatment For Tonsillitis

im sixteen and i think i have mono. i was just diagnosed with tonsilitis and larangitis and swelling of the lyphnodes in the neck. I have a fever i believe(no thermo) and i am really exhausted. when i went to the doctor not only were my tonsils swollen but there was yellowish white pustuls on them and the doctor told me that it would go away on ts own but did a strep throat test and when it came up negative perscribed me anti biotics anyways for strep. i didnt ahve any of the syptoms i have now. ansd i have practiccally all of them. its been about a month and im haveing really bad headaches and all my muscles are sore. and im very lathargic. I am a minor and i live in the foster care system and i need to know if i should tell them that i need to urgently get tested for mono. i have beenm kissing alot of people and i do have a weekend immune system. i also have sleep apnea. what is my time frame before it becomes deadly. its friday and i need to know if i should go asap to the doctor. will i die?
