Suggest Treatment For Total Weakness In Left Leg

We ve been to 2 neurologist specialists for diagnosis of my husbands leg problem. He has total weakness in his left leg. No pain but walks with a kind of limp. Noticed the other day that it was much worse with a kind of slamming of his foot. Almost like walking on the side of his foot then slamming down the inside of his foot.He doesn t have MS or Lou Gehrig s Decease. Have noticed that when he sleeps, his foot is almost always in motion. They say he has a lesion on his spine but I believe they re just grabbing onto anything they can to just say they ve found something. If it was a lesion and there s no nerve damage, according to 2 tests, how can a lesion on the spine not be nerve related. So confused!
