Suggest Treatment For Trichomoniasis

Hello Dr. my GF recently was diagnosed with Trichomoniasis we both were treated. They gave her flagy and cipro. Her infection seems to be hanging on. I had no symptoms or discharge but told my doctor of her diagnosis; he gave me a urine test and prescribed both cipro and flagy 500mg twice a day. Couldn t get my prescriptions filled till the morning cause pharmacy was closed; the next day the gave me the Flagy but would not fill the cipro cause when i called the doctor they said the urine test showed no sign of infection. I guess what i m asking is if my urine test came up negative for infection did I have Trichomoniasis? Thank You for your help.
