Suggest Treatment For Unbearable Pain In Arm

I fell down today but grabbed a bar in front of me. That made my arm go above my head and back further than it should have. My arm is working but I was wondering if I should go to er? The pain is pretty steady at a 7 at all times but when I try and move my arm up itis almost unbearable!! I have a bunch of kids and no baby sitter so I'd rather not go to er if I don't have to.
