Suggest Treatment For Upper Respiratory And Sinus Infection

am concerned about my boyfriend....had upper respiratory infection mid january...since then symptoms associated with sinus infection, but also with jaw pain and excessive sweating when symptoms act up...has been to doc twice...on a course and a half of abt, prednisone, flonase and afrin spray....his whole l side of face hurts...gets headaches, has not slept more than 2- 3 consequtive hours in a month in a half. had ct today , no results yet? i am a registered nurse and getting very concerned
