Suggest Treatment For Upper Respiratory Infection Along With Fever

My 5 year old son came down with a fever up to 102.2 last night and still runs a 99-100 while on Tylenol or Ibuprofen. He has head congestion that makes his ears hurt but lessens using sudafed. Nasal rinse with 2.5 Ph Kangen water produces browish/yellow mucous. Seems like a 48 hour virus, but concern about upper respiratory infection. Thanks, Kathlena
