Suggest Treatment For Vaginal Infection

i have very very sore labia. i also have what i think it called smegma, a discharge from my clitoral hood. i went to the doctor and was give a pre for an estrogen ceam and also told to use a hyrdocotizone cream applied to the area at night. it`s been two weeks and i`m still sore as ever an d now it seems like there is a crack in my folds. i have no discharge from my vagina. only from the clitoris which i was told was fine and normal. i have seen a lot of posting on other sites for women with the same issue but no one seems to have an answer. i am 27. no children. married for 3 years. i have read that using vitamin e oil has helped others. my doctor told me it looked like fishers? or maybe spelled phishers? the dr. i saw was not an ob/gyn so i dont know id should go see someone else or what to do. i am in so much pain i dont know what to do.
