Suggest Treatment For Walking Pneumonia Leading To Sore Throat

My husband was diagnosed with walking pneumonia. He has no fever or cough but a very sore throat, He is very tired . He is now on day four of a a ten day antibiotic. So far no change. The symptoms have been there for more than a month. Should we be patient, waiting for the antibiotic to work or does this look like some other problem? He so wants to have his old self back.Thank you for your help.Shirley and Ed Talen
