Suggest Treatment For Walking Pneumonia

My brother-in-law has just been diagnosed with walking pneumonia. He's 78 years old, has 3 stints in his heart and prostate cancer. He lives in NYC and works 8 hrs a day, 5 days a week. He did see a doctor yesterday so he's on meds. My sister, his wife, thinks she has gotten it now. Possible?
