H i, nswer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here... I got a nipple piercing about a month ago and was cleaning them 5 to 6 or 4 to 5 times a day as I was told 2 weeks later I started to notice that a white discharge of puss like substance would "gush" out only while cleaning them . I had called the place I got them pierced and spoke to one of the piercers and he had asked how often I clean them and later suggested I cut down on how frequently I clean them out; and if it still was doing that in a week to come back so they can check it out. So I took his advice. And for a week it was fine I started to clean them twice to 3 times or once depending on how crusty the ends would get. However, I noticed that due to cleaning them now,a few times a day they became dry and very crusty and was harder to clean out the crust. Although there was no pain, irritation, swelling, redness or discharge was present at this period. A week later that (now) and today. I noticed a white hard bump that is right next to the pierced hole; like a whitehead but on the aereola. I did research and all I came across was potentiality of an infection. I would like to get an opinion before I go back to my piercer since this is bugging my mind. Also I am not pregnant if that makes breaks it down a little more.
