Suggest Treatment For Wound Infection On Hip Causing Pain While Walking

On Saturday morning I was thrown out of a car and now have a giant wound on my left hip. The scaring process has literally just started, but it is still pussing.. Is that normal? When will it stop?. Also I need tips on how to clean it. Anything hurts, even walking or simply sleeping.
