Suggest Treatment For Wrist Arthritis

I was just diagnosed with SLAC stage II wrist arthritis. The hand surgeon wants to operate removing some bones, fussion, and a screw. Upon further research I am reading that devervation for SLAC is preferred to eliminate the pain and has been very successful. I have complete rane of motion in both wrists and don t want to jepeordize the use of my hands. I am a professional piano and avid golfer. Please Advise.
