Suggest Treatment To Improve The Appetite Of A Child

Hi Doctor, We live in Mangalore, India . My 4 year old son , Last week he had a mild fever (100.5) and his pediatrician suggested calpol syrup for a couple of days. The fever subsided after taking it but he continued to have cough. His appetite also reduced. Yesterday afternooon as soon as he started eating he vomited. We visited his pediatrictian again yesterday and he suggested Vomikind and Alex Juinior for cough for 2 days. I am a little worried as it is the first time he is vomiting. Kindly suggest as to what needs to be done to improve his appetite.
