Suggest Treatment To Reduce Redness And Blotches On Face

hi i have recently been prescribed dovonex cream for a case of posriasis i have, this seems to be doin the trick. but last weekend i had a couple partys and drank a fair amount, i woke up on monday with slight blotches on my face i used dovonex on my face to get rid of the blotches, i noticesed a few more blotches appear the next day and the original blotches widening so i used it more over a wide area, now a great deal of my face has gone gone red and blotchy. after learning that this cream should not be used on the face (i didn't read the label after it being prescribed, silly i know)...is there anything i can do to reduce the redness and blotches? i have a 1% hydrocortisone cream would that reduce the symptoms?...any feed back would be greatly recieved. thanks
