Suggest Treatment To Remove Bartholin's Cyst

My ob/gyn believes I have a bartholin cyst about the size of a pea and wants to surgically remove it. I am 51 yrs old and healthy. The cyst is mildly irritating and tends to bleed a little. Because of the hardness, he would like to remove and biopsy. Any thoughts?
