i have had min invasive L4/L5 discectomy 6 months ago and my pain has been getting worse, the surgeon has said it is scar tissue and ligaments that is causing the pain and tells me to exercise, iam almost 100% sure that there is something else wrong, disc fragments or something else, iam going for nerve blocker injections and so far they have not worked. the pain is still the same and radiates down my leg, also my thigh is still completely numb just as it was before my surgery, is there anything that can be done to remove the scar tissue and prevent it from returning to that specific nerve? iam 41 yrs old, male, injured my back at work, compensation is pushing me through their programs and want to pay me out asap. i feel another mri might show something else besides scar tissue and ligament damage from surgery..there must be some sort of device that can be placed in the area where the nerve is? removal of scar tissue and then implanting something to ensure the scar tissue grows around the implant and not directly on the nerve?please let me know if such an implant or device exists for the type of pain and surgery i have had..
