Suggest Ways To Lose Weight

Thanks...I was given samples of Kazano by my doctor to take for 2 months. I am 5 5 , 71 years old and weigh 213. I have gained 10 pounds since October. Crazy, because I am actually trying to lose weight. I am really addicted to sugar. I have read some about this Kazano. And have a question; Why did my doctor suggest this med? Does he think it will help me lose weight? I am not a diabetic. Thanks.
