Suggest Ways To Maintain Condition Of Fusion With Pedicle Screws

I am 6 weeks post op lumbar laminectomy at L3-L4 and L4-L 5; and fusion with pedicle screws at L4-L5. My surgeon does not prescribe a back brace post op. I am constantly worried that I have undone the fusion when I catch myself twisting or bending unconsciously. What are the odds that my fusion will be OK? Have recurrence of L hip and leg nerve pain.
