Suggest Ways To Manage Someone With Manic Symptoms

My son is taking depakote,geo don and adder all and it isn t working just the opposite he is manic ,anxiety and nasty vicious mouth and not listening could his medications be wrong, too much or should I find something else. He is getting into trouble and losing friends and family. He lost a lot of weight and we thought maybe this was problem but doctor increased dose instead. I m lost as to what to do. He was always a chubby but happy well like kid but now at 21 he is a mess and now I found he s using alcohol too.
