Suggest Ways To Wean Off Percocet

I was prescribed Percocet for back pain 2 yrs ago I am taking 4 a day I want to get off this drug but I have tried and find it very dif on my own I have tried to spread it over 5 hrs I am 72 years old and do not want to take them anymore. I have noticed that I have to have them now even when I don t have pain . Can I do it by going longer than 5 hrs.it is very uncomfortable.
