Suggest Ways To Wean Off Vicodin When Addicted To It

My daughter became addicted to Vicodin. She is trying to quit on her own. She is thirty years old. Her withdraws are so bad that she feels she can t do it. Is there anything over the counter that will help her get through the withdraws? She is having pain and mood swings, she is hot and can t cool off. She is having muscle spams and constipated. I don t want to see her fail. Is there anything that will help her? She is trying so hard and we are on day four. Thanks
