Summary: Random glans pain/sensitivity to the touch, not related to foreskin or sex, for about a month, want to know what it is, no visible symptoms.
How it started: I started a new job and wore some new pants without washing them first. Worked in LTC, am a healthcare worker. I had a beer on the weekend and during/after having the beer noticed a brand new pain/sensitivity on my glans where everything was perfectly normal before. I was voiding more than usual because of the beer.
Ever since that day I've had that pain/sensitivity without it getting any better or getting any worse, no change, it's extremely annoying and I hate things that are permanent out of no where, please help. It's been a month now.
Sex life: I have none and haven't had sex in almost a year, last partner was verified clean and so was I so it's not that.
Hygiene: Wash every day, perfectly clean, not circumcised but have no phimosis or anything near it.
Visible symptoms: None. No rash, no bumps, no lumps no redness, no nothing, it looks perfectly normal.
Affected area: Top of glans and left side of glans, right side is unaffected.
When aroused: When aroused it does not seem to affect me.
Pain/sensation: It feels the same as if the area was a little raw or chaffed or rubbed except that it is not. Like if you had a little bit too much sex or something you'd get a similar or identical sensitivity/pain to the touch on the glans. Except that this is NOT caused by rubbing or friction or etc. and there is no visible markings on the outside.
In conclusion:
Did I get herpes from a toilet seat or something insane!? What is this? WHY is this?? What is the most likely thing this could be. I've given you as much info as you'd have as my family doctor.
