TSH Level Elevated. Dr. Changed Synthroid From 100 Mcg To
TSH level elevated. Dr. changed synthroid from 100 mcg to 112 mcg and hemoglobin at 15.6 began to drop. TSH increased again, at 4.64, and synthroid increased from 112 to 125 mcg. Hemoglobin dropped to 11 range and hematocrit around 36. Synthroid 125 mcg results in TSH range from .922 to 1.77. Does an increase in synthroid dosage cause the hemoglobin/hematocrit to drop?
