Taking Diltiazem 180 Mg For 4 Nights. I Have Been

Taking diltiazem 180 mg for 4 nights. I have been on clanozepam 0.5 mg since 1991 for anxiety. I had not had an anxiety attack for 2 years, then on March 7 i started having palpitations shortness of breath in the day and night. Wore a holter monitor and the cardiologist saw extra beats atrial and ventricular. ECG (ultra sound) normal EKG normal chest cat scan normal isotope heart exam normal. I don't want to take the diltiazem! I feel that i am back in a severe anxiety cycle. Lots of stress recently. I am also on slo magnesium tablets. Yesterday i took 2 mag tablets 1 diltiazem and 1 0.5 mg clanozepam. Did not sleep a wink until day break and then had a nightmare that i was at a funeral and i keep saying i can't breath over and over. Woke gasping for air. Should clonazepam and diltiazem be taken together? Is this severe anxiety? Do i have to take diltiazem? Linda today is my 66 th birthday. I have always been athletic and active. Hiking and snowshoing and moderate biking are my activities now.
