Thank you. I have been ill with an odd illness and I cannot figure out what it is. Its symptoms are a fever that ranges from 101.5 to just below normal. It has been on-going for 5 days now and seems to be (on the average) trending down. For example, this morning it was 97 (7 am) by 11 it was bacl up to 100.1 and I just took it and it was just under 101. Aside from the fever I have a persistent mild headache and touching my head/scalp is sensitive. It also hurts (mildly) to squeeze my eyes shut hard or to touch them when closed. I'm very weak physically, have been sleeping a lot but other than these mild symptoms this illness HAS NOT caused any sneezing, coughing, need to blow my nose, sinus involvement or sore throat (except for a very minor discomfort when swallowing) or bronchial in lung involvement, no nausea, no stomach cramps, no diarrhea and no vomiting, I've no knowledge of any flu being so seemingly benign yes persistent. A friend mentioned viral meningitis but I don't seem to fit any of those symtoms either. Do I need to be worried?
