Thank you. I have recently been diagnosed with osteoporosis. I have had osteopenia for a number of years, and tried Fosamax with complication of severe joint/bone pain. My doctor wants me to go on it again, but I am not willing. I am wondering if the other similar meds (ie injectables) might be a better choice. My cardiologist at one time cautioned about taking high doses of Ca, so I am in a bit of a quandry.
