My husband has a dvt in his leg(second one) in a 10 month period. It took a long time for the warfarin to work.
His Inr is 3.5.
How does the vein become damaged to form a clot?
He also had PE, 1 in 1 lung and 3 in the other.
Does the clot go through the heart and then the lung?
