Thank You For Reading This. My Name Is Michele. I'm

Thank you for reading this. My name is Michele. I'm 46. Have hypothyroidism ( diagnosed 15 years ago and doing well on 100 mcg of levothyroxine). I've been healthy most of my life with exception of the past year. I've had repeated urinary tract/ kidney infections. Unfortunately I am allergic to sulfa, macrobid, and penicillin drugs. Three to four weeks ago I went to our local clinc that my family has used for years with the typical urinary tract/ kidney infection. I was prescribed ciprofloxacin hol 250 mg tablets. ( which I have used before without difficulty). She said to take 1 am 1 pm for seven days then 1 per day for 2 months as a preventative. 1/2 way through this treatment ( Tuesday 6-3-2015) I started having fever, chills, lack of energy, focus, swelling of eyelids. It felt like I was having a reaction to the antibiotics. I stopped the medication at this nurse practioners request the next day. My fever is approximately 100 during the day and up to 102.5 at night. Even waking me up in the middle of the night soaking wet with sweat. Hoping that my fever "broke" if there is such a thing I Felt better today but as of 4:00 today I was back to 102. 4 again. Yesterday I went back to the dr's office. She said that she wanted a ct scan of my colon , bladder, and lower abdomin. She said she's concerned because almost every urine sample I've given this year has contained small traces of blood and it's possible there my be a cyst doing this. She has given me clindamycin hcl 150 mg caps 1 am and 1 pm to get me thru the weekend. I do trust this lady but she is a one man show , owns the clinic, is a nurse practitioner, and sometimes seems to be running on all cylinders. I've even picked up my prescriptions before where she has prescribed me sulfa drugs ..... Which I am allergic to. So (1) I am concerned about taking this new medication (clindamycin ) because even with fever I am feeling a little better and am afraid I might head down hill again and (2) would like to know a true dr's opinion as to why I seem to have traces of blood in my urine and so much turmoil with 102 fevers for so long now. Thank you for your time on this Saturday evening.
