Thank-you for your help. I'm a 39 year old female and quiting an awful smoking habit I picked up since 18. I noticed a big painful brownish raised sore on the top of my tongue yesterday. I guess it stared like a pimple but now it's gotten big and painful and the color is concerning as well. Please let me know. I'm freaking out thinking that I have oral cancer.
