Thank you. i have conflicting info from my old dentist and my new one concerning the need to premedicate for a deep cleaning and exam of my teeth. I had a complete knee replacement in 2011 with no complications. My old dentist said the new guidelines were premeds were unnecessary. My new dentist says I need amoxycillin , a big dose.

I am concerned because I have been diligently working on fighting a fungal growth in my intestines. Needing lots of probiotics and nutritional discipline to help rebuild healthy flora in my gut. I make progress thena dental porcedure undoes my progress. Another question I have is if I can premedicate with Collodial Silver and a strong raw garlic regimine
