Thanks Dr Rynne. I am a reasonably active 71 year old female. Pain in [L] mid calf x 10 days. Slight swelling in calf,0 in ankle and pain Increases over one spot with pressure. Also increases in calf during exercise. I a Yesterday pain extended to behind [L] knee.
I have stable hypertension average 118/70. I have also increased Aspirin to 500mg BiD.I was investigated approx. 8 years ago for chest pain. Angiogram showed I had "coronary arteries like a horse!'
My father had a stroke at age 59 and died of a dissecting aortic aneurysm at 64. Thanks again
