Thanks So Much For This Forum. I Have Few Questions

Thanks so much for this forum. I have few questions which I hope you could provide some answers/clarifications:
1. What are possible dangers of having a specific gravity of urine at 1.005? My father's urine results show that his urine specific gravity is just at 1.005. He was diagnosed with diabetes type 2 almost 15 years ago. The doctor thought his frequent urination and bed-wetting are caused by his diabetes. But then when the urinalysis came back he took notice of two key things: (i) the urine specific gravity is at 1.005 and (ii) sugar in urine only shows "traces" (the doctor was expecting high sugar levels in urine).
2. What could be the reasons for his frequent urination/bed-wetting if it is not his diabetes? His kidney ultrasound also came back with medium to severe dilation. What could this mean?
Thanks so much in advance. Would greatly appreciate your responses.
