The Humming From The Air Conditioner In The Next Room

The humming from the air conditioner in the next room is very loud to me and keeps me awake or interferes with my sleep at night. The noise is so bad it's either triggering a silent migraine or the migraine is why the noise is so loud because my hearing gets super sensitive. Either way, I'm losing so much sleep. Please help.
