The Insulin I Am Currently Taking Is Apridra 16 Units

The insulin I am currently taking is Apridra 16 units before breakfast and lunch and 10 units before dinner plus sliding scale. When blood sugar reading is over 150 add 4 extra units of Aprida, blood sugar reading over 200 6 extra units of Apridra and blood sugar reading over 250 8 extra units.

The insulin I take at bedtime is Lantus 26 units and it's a long acting insulin that's taken only once a day with the same dosage daily unless the doctor increases or decreases it when I see him depending what the blood sugar readings are.

Since I have lost my medical insurance, I need to switch to cheaper insulins. Humalog, Lantus and Apidra all will cost me about $300 per month. NPH and Human Regular cost about $25 per vial.

I am thinking of making the following U100 insulin switches:
Bedtime 26 units NPH
Morning 16 units Human Regular Insulin
Lunch 16 units Regular Insulin
Dinner 8 units Human Regular Insulin with a sliding scale of
Over 150 glucose reading add 4 extra units
Over 200 add 6 extra units
Over 250 add 8 extra units

What would you recommend in switching to a cheaper insulin?
