The Left Side Of My Chest Feels Possibly Inflammated/swollen And

The left side of my chest feels possibly inflammated/swollen and sucken/collapsed side by side. I do not know if it is of concern or not? I am smoker of nicotine for a few years now if that has anything to do with it. An it seems at times shortest of breathe. Or I can be over reacted and thinking to much. Please have your input!
