The Lunula On My Left Thumbnail Is Suddenly Dark In

The lunula on my left thumbnail is suddenly dark in color (dark pinkish color) There is also a little white spot there. It has not always been this way and I just noticed it today. I have no other symptoms or anything, just noticed the strange change in appearance. Other thumbnail looks normal as usual. I do ot recall injuring or hitting my thumb at all. Recent changes that may be of importance are: Been on strict diet of around 1,000 calories (give or take) starting taking multivitamin daily, increased protein and have been taking D Aspartic acid, combined with Chrysin, in an attempt to boost my testosterone. Iam 36 years old. The internet has me a little freaked out about the discoloration of my thumbnail. What is the most likely cause and should I be concerned?
