The Other Day While Playing With My Daughter She Hung

The other day while playing with my daughter she hung around my neck. Since then I've had a sore throat which is better for the most part but I still have a lump on the right side about an inch above my voice box. It constantly feels as if there's a golf ball in my throat while breathing and swallowing. What might this be and should I be concerned?
