The Person In Question Bent Over To Straighten A Rug

The person in question bent over to straighten a rug (85 year old, active woman), and suddenly was struck by "electrical" pains down both arms and could not move. Was on floor and crawled to seat. Shoulders felt swollen and center core felt restricted like being squeezed. This was her description. Happened in January and did not tell anyone for quite a while. Have spoken to her daughter about it and we would like to be a little more informed because she will not go get examined.
