The Roof Of My Mouth Has Little Dots On Them

The roof of my mouth has little dots on them and it feels like something is stuck in my throat. The tip of my tongue is red and feels like I burnt it. The doctor has put me on allergy medicine, but after two weeks no improvement and I have been taking prevacid for 7 days because my doctor is trying to rule out heartburn and allergies. Neither is working.
