The Tendons Are Slipping Over The Knuckles On Both Hands

The tendons are slipping over the knuckles on both hands for the index and middle finger. It has been like this for as long as I can remember, and I can't think of an instance of trauma. When I make a fist and release it is not a fluid movement. There is very minimal discomfort but I usually wake up with a sore middle finger each morning. What should I do?
