The Whites Of My Both My Eyes Have Turned Bright

The whites of my both my eyes have turned bright red. The left, at the bottom of my eye and the right, the most severe, is at the base and corner of my eye. I think it might have been caused from vomiting this morning. Although, I would have thought I would have noticed it earlier and not so many hours later. Or maybe it could be a side effect of perhaps the new medication I am taking?
