There Is A Hard Lump In My Friends Arm That

There is a hard lump in my friends arm that occured after she injected meth. It is tender to the touch and hard when touched. About the size of a 50 cent piece. Small dark red jagged line about 1/4 inch long leading away from injection site as well. What is this and do inneed to worry and how to i treat it at home?
