There Is Skin Hanging Off My Left Tonsil. At First

There is skin hanging off my left tonsil. At first i thought it might be food I didn't swallow and it wasn't, so i went to the bathroom and found it. It doesn't hurt, i don't have a sore throat or anything. It's just uncomfortable. Any idea what it might be? i'm freaking out
